Windsor trucker charged with careless driving after rollover on 401

A Windsor trucker is facing a careless driving charge after his tractor trailer went out of control on Highway 401 in the Chatham-Kent area.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes of the highway near Dillon Road.
According to provincial police, the transport truck crashed through a guardrail and rolled onto its side, coming to rest on the embankment of a bridge.
The 50-year-old male driver of the truck — a Windsor resident — suffered minor injuries.
