Updated: Car strikes two pedestrians on Ouellette Avenue, both rushed to hospital

A stretch of Ouellette Avenue south of downtown Windsor had to be closed for several hours late Friday night as police investigated a collision between a car and two male pedestrians.
Both pedestrians were rushed to hospital, with one in life-threatening condition and the other listed in stable condition. The collision occurred between Shepherd and Hanna streets shortly before 10 p.m. Windsor police and firefighters and Essex-Windsor EMS paramedics all converged on the scene.
