Stem cell donor match sought at University of Windsor event

An Wednesday event at the University of Windsor will attempt to find a stem cell match for a young Chatham woman suffering from acute myeloid leukemia.
Jocelyn McGlynn, a 21-year-old medical science student at Western University, learned in late November she had been diagnosed with the disease following blood tests.
After a stem cell match was not found among her own family members, a swabbing and blood donation event was held at her university, but to date, an eligible donor has not been found.
