Photos: New $1.4M jetty taking shape in Belle River

LAKESHORE — Concrete is being poured as part of a $1.4-million project known as the Lakeview Park West Beach Jetty. The new structure — a 150-metre replacement of the existing 25-metre steel breakwall — will be roughly nine metres in width, separate boats and jet skis from swimmers and feature a walkway with seating for visitors to enjoy the Lake St. Clair views.
