Ministry deciding whether to lay charges in workplace fatality

Ontario’s Ministry of Labour has ordered a Windsor company to submit a report on the equipment that caused the death of a worker April 12.
Besides providing an engineering report on the equipment in question, Prestressed Systems Inc. (PSI) must also refrain from using the equipment for now and maintain the scene of the accident as it was. The ministry issued those requirements April 18 after an inspector and an engineer visited the Walker Road plant.
