MacDonald upsets incumbent Paterson to claim Leamington mayor's job

Leamington voters opted to vote for change in a big way as sitting Deputy Mayor Hilda MacDonald upended incumbent Mayor John Paterson.
MacDonald scored a resounding 1,808-vote victory picking up 4,341 votes to Paterson’s 2,533.
Retired Canadian Armed Forces soldier Bruce Medcalf was a distant third with 333 votes.
