DETROIT — When Thomas Quigley went to pick up his wife at Detroit Metro Airport last Sept. 4, the Windsor man first greeted her in baggage claim with a hug and a kiss. Then he retrieved her luggage from the carousel and told his wife of 48 years to wait in the terminal while he got the car.
