Canada needs to strike a balance in dealing with Trump's U.S.

I appreciate the pragmatism displayed in this response to Michael Lapain’s original letter. Canada is a much smaller, much less-powerful nation than the United States. Canada is also highly dependent on the U.S. economy, as well as the branches of the U.S. military regarding national security. All of that is true.
