WR marks 25th International Overdose Awareness Day

Aug. 31 marks the 25th International Overdose Awareness Day. The annual global campaign aims to end drug overdoses and remember those who have died. A public gathering will be held in Cambridge's Soper Park on Monday morning. Julie Kalbfleisch, director of public engagement at Sanguen Health Centre and the co-chair of the Waterloo Region International Overdose Awareness Day Planning Committee, explains the importance of marking the day.
