Tuesday saw the temperature reach 26.8 C to set a new record for the warmest Oct. 13 in Waterloo region. But Peter Kimbell, a warning preparedness meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada, says people should be prepared for cooler days and nights ahead.
