Protesters gather in defence of Kitchener encampment

Protesters met outside the Region of Waterloo's Administration Headquarters to protest the region's decision to appeal a court decision that prevented the region from removing people living at an encampment at 100 Victoria St. N. in downtown Kitchener. Fight Back KW organized the rally. About 50 people gathered in the rain, with protestors holding signs and organizers giving speeches about why they disagree with the region's decision to appeal.
