AI platform BeanGPT aims to boost dry bean farming and cross-breeding

A new dry bean variety developed with the help of artificial intelligence could hit the market in the next few years. BeanGPT is an artificial intelligence platform developed by Mohsen Yoosefzadeh Najafabadi, a professor of dry bean breeding and computational biology at the University of Guelph. He spoke with CBC K-W's John Dalusong about how the software works.
