World Rugby Sevens Series bans writing on wrist tape

Rugby’s global governing body is cracking down on displays of protest or even affection.
Canadian star Jen Kish, well known for her colourful collection of tattoos, took to Twitter Monday to express frustration with the new policy.
The rugby sevens forward is in Dubai, preparing for this weekend’s World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series season-opening tournament, and she says she’s been told players may no longer display personal messages on athletic tape used on their body.
