Worker in hospital after touching power lines in Surrey

A worker was injured after he made contact with electrical wires on 184 Street in Surrey on Wednesday morning.
The worker was transported to hospital after BC Hydro cut power to the lines so the worker could be safely brought down to the ground.
A WorkSafe BC spokesperson said in an email that a prevention officer “has been assigned” to the incident but are not investigating as the situation is covered by federal regulation.
