Wine Guy: Year-end bubbles

It’s the last column of the calendar, which of course means the new year is near. And as much as I proselytize the sensibility of serving sparkling wine throughout the months, I’m not too flat to recognize that New Year’s Eve continues to represent the biggest excuse for popping corks. Thus I end 2018 much as I have concluded many a year prior:, with some parting thoughts and a few (pressurized) bottled recommendations for ringing in the new year. Here’s to 2019!
