Classic can be a dangerous word to throw around. What makes something classic? Is it heritage or longevity? Typicity? Quality? What about when it comes to classic B.C. wine?
Admittedly, set against a global context the B.C. wine industry remains in its infancy. Yet there’s no denying the dizzying pace of growth and development B.C. wine has experienced these past three decades or so. Is it too soon to label any B.C. bottles “classic?”
