Whitecaps add speed, depth on back line in SuperDraft
The Vancouver Whitecaps didn’t have to look far for their first pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.
With the 17th overall pick, the Caps took University of Washington defender Justin Fiddes. A fleet-footed fullback, the 5-foot-11 San Diego native had four assists in 14 games. He was a second team All-Far West Region All-star and an All-Pac-12 honourable mention after a season that saw him start all 20 games.
