Whistleblower "immediately" witnessed abuse by Chilliwack chicken workers

A whistleblower who got a job with a B.C. chicken-catching company witnessed alleged instances of animal abuse begin “pretty much immediately” after starting work.
That worker was actually an undercover volunteer for animal-welfare group Mercy for Animals, and filmed the treatment of chickens over the course of about a month between May 10 and June 9. The footage has since sparked a B.C. SPCA investigation, it was announced Monday.
