A Summer holiday is out of reach for low-income families and those struggling with poverty, homelessness and addiction.
The Summer BBQ is UGM’s biggest event of the year, offering a summer feast along with family-focused activities like face painting, a bouncy castle and a mini-carnival of games.
The event gives those in the DTES a day of relief and restoration, along with an opportunity to connect to long-term and life-changing programs.
