VICTORIA — For a government that passed the best-before date weeks ago, the swearing-in Monday for Premier Christy Clark and her revised cabinet lineup was a predictably sombre affair.
“They look like they are arriving for a root canal,” quipped one wag as the B.C. Liberals came to government house for an oath-taking ceremony bereft of the usual pomp and circumstance.
