Vancouver's Velopalooza returns for 8th year

Friday sees the launch of Velopalooza, the “two week festival of bike fun.”
The pedal-off Friday night is Astorino’s Ballroom, called Kickstand’s Annual FUNraiser Concert: live music and DJs, a mini-bike circuse, games and prizes, a bar (Kickstand is a volunteer-run community bike shop). Doors at 8 p.m., tickets $5-10.
