Vancouver's Kits pool to open Saturday after $3.3 million upgrade

Vancouver outdoor pools are set to open ahead of the long weekend, including the popular Kitsilano pool, which recently had a $3.3 million upgrade.
Also opening Saturday are the outdoor pools at Second Beach in Stanley Park and New Brighton Park.
At 137 metres, Kits pool is North America’s longest saltwater pool. It opened in 1931, and last received a significant upgrade 40 years ago.
