Vancouver woman, 20, charged with West End murder

A 20-year-old Vancouver woman has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the killing of Marline Mars.
Mars, a 34-year-old Vancouver resident, was found dead inside a West End apartment near Jervis and Harwood streets on Oct. 13 just before 4 p.m.
Paramedics at the scene called police after they found Mars inside the home, along with other injured people who were considered witnesses.
Police believed the attacker fled before first-responders arrived.
