Vancouver Whitecaps prospect dies after weekend car crash in Surrey

Vancouver Whitecaps prospect Brandon Bassi, 19, was one of the victims in a single-vehicle crash on May 18. He was transported to hospital in serious condition, but Surrey RCMP confirmed he died from his injuries overnight.
