Vancouver protest marches collide on Granville Street

Worlds collided in Vancouver on Saturday when two protest marches nearly did the same.
The Red Umbrella March for Sex Work Solidarity, now in its fifth year, had some competition this time out, as another protest, The Vancouver March to Close All Slaughterhouses, walked a similar route at the same time. The two groups met on Granville Street on Saturday, where police suddenly found themselves trying to manage a traffic jam of causes.
