Bowen Byram swears he’s listening to Jamie Heward about not listening to the NHL Draft hype.
Byram, the Vancouver Giants second-year defenceman from Cranbrook, maintains that he’s managing to ignore the buzz around him being a possible early selection in next June’s entry draft at Rogers Arena, and says that Heward, the team’s associate coach, is offering important counsel in that regard.
