U.S. man arrested in violation of deportation orders gets six months

An American man who tried to enter Canada in violation of deportation orders and later spat in the face of a Canadian immigration officer has been sentenced to six months in jail.
Ronald Dosson was initially deported from Ontario in January 2017 due to a criminal conviction in the U.S.
On Nov. 26, 2017, he approached the Aldergrove border crossing on foot and attempted to return to Canada. He was told that he was banned from Canada and that he could walk back into the U.S. He refused,
