Vancouver Queer Film Festival
The Vancouver Queer Film Festival kicks off its 11th year on Thursday. There are over 50 films, with seven visiting filmmakers, 19 local directors, plus musical artists and free events. The whole thing gets started with a screening of I Dream in Another Language, about a young linguist and his research with the last three surviving speakers of the Indigenous language
