Three B.C. clinics subject to audits to examine billing practices

B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix says the billing practices of three private health clinics in his province are being audited.
Dix says the issue of overbilling in British Columbia has been a long-standing concern under the Canada Health Act and the province and Health Canada agreed about the need for the audit.
He isn’t identifying the clinics being reviewed, but says his ministry is conducting the examination through its billing integrity program.
