Thomas Berger has long history of arguing for Aboriginal rights
The B.C. NDP government has hired former B.C. Supreme Court judge Thomas Berger, 84, to lead a legal fight against the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
• Berger, the son of an RCMP sergeant who emigrated to Canada from Sweden, was born in Victoria in 1933
