The Morning Skate, Oct. 26: The Whitecaps take centre stage

Leave no doubt: that was the game Whitecaps fans had been waiting for, and the game the Whitecaps needed to play to pull in everyone else.
In crushing San Jose 5-0 at the Dome, the Caps showed they can both entertain and also can put games away.
Now it gets harder. The Seattle Sounders are in so many ways what the San Jose Earthquakes were not: the Emerald City club has attacking firepower in spades, is rock-solid defensively and they’ve got the numbers to back it all up.
