The Home Front: Designer dedicated to honouring the tree
Designer, sculptor and furniture maker Jesse Toso, who works out of Vancouver’s iconic Parker Street Studios, has been a carpenter all his life, first learning in his father’s workshop, then paying his way through Simon Fraser University’s fine arts program working as a carpenter.
It was his time spent on building sites, he says, that prompted him to become a sculptor and furniture maker.
