Swimmers at Whytecliff Park get quite the surprise

A group of swimmers at West Vancouver’s Whytecliff Park got quite the surprise this holiday long weekend: they were joined by a pod of orcas.
The video was captured by local photographer Robin Leveille and posted to his Instagram account.The park is well-known for its beach, its views and its wildlife — but encounters with orcas is definitely a rare thing.
