Suspect charged after Langara College arson attack

A 23-year-old Surrey man has now been charged with the arson attack that shut down Langara College for two days.
Vancouver Police announced Nasradin Abdusamad Ali is facing two charges: one count of arson in relation to inhabited property, and one count of possession of incendiary material.
Just before noon Monday, first responders received reports of a suspicious fire on campus.
Fires had been set on two floors of the T Building, which houses Langara’s science department.
