Surrey’s first supervised consumption site set to open

Surrey’s first supervised consumption site is set to open this week.
It’s not just a first for Surrey, but the first such facility in the Fraser Health region and it follows the recent spike in overdose deaths.
On Tuesday, media were given a tour of the 135A Street location, dubbed “SafePoint,” which is located directly behind the Surrey Outeach Team trailer.
