Surrey high school evacuated due to "unspecified threat"

L.A. Matheson Secondary School was evacuated Thursday afternoon due to what the RCMP and the Surrey Secondary School called a “unspecified threat.”
A school board spokesperson said students and staff were led out of the building sometime before 2 p.m.
Surrey RCMP said the students were taken to a safe location and were monitored by school staff while the police investigated.
