Surrey firefighters battle simultaneous blazes

Surrey firefighters battles blazes on two fronts early Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to a two-alarm blaze at a two-storey, mixed-used commercial/residential building at 1:15 a.m. in  the 12500-block of 110th Avenue.
Flames were leaping from the structure when firefighters arrived.
The building contained at least two businesses, including an auto repair shop.
Surrey Fire Rescue said two people were inside the building when the fire broke out but both made it out safely.
