St. Patrick in Mexico a religious affair

In San Patricio Melaque on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, for ten days in March, St. Patrick is loudly and joyously celebrated.
At five o’clock one morning the town wakes to the whistles and explosions of fireworks, then peal after peal of church bells. At seven we watch a brass band marching behind a group of fifty, young and old.
