Snow already? Alert in effect for flurries on Coquihalla Highway

There’s another weather alert in effect in B.C. this morning, but it’s not what you might expect. Yes, just as you are coming to terms with the end of summer there’s now snow.
Environment Canada on Thursday morning posted a special weather advisory, saying flurries are expected near the summit on the Coquihalla Highway, from Merritt to Kamloops, with accumulations of up to two centimetres possible.
The federal weather agency says a cold front is crossing 100 Mile and the S
