SFU study concludes no adverse effects to B.C. coast from Fukushima
A Simon Fraser University researcher has determined that no serious damage was done to B.C.’s coast following the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster in Japan seven years ago.
SFU chemist Krzysztof Starosta analyzed soil and salmon samples, after concerns were raised that radioactive waste from the accident might taint the fish people consume.
