Salmon Arm armed robbery foiled by GPS tracking

Salmon Arm RCMP say a pair of suspected thieves who allegedly robbed a couple of their SUV at knifepoint were foiled by the vehicle’s GPS tracking system.
The incident happened Monday afternoon at an ATM outside a Salmon Arm Bank.
RCMP say the victims were withdrawing money when they were confronted by a man in a mask who threatened them with a knife. The man took their cash and keys before driving away in the stolen car with a female accomplice.
