Royals turn tables on Giants with late-game heroics

This time, the Vancouver Giants couldn’t come all the way back.
The Giants, who got a goal in the waning seconds to force overtime on Friday at home against the Kamloops Blazers and then won 4-3 in a shootout, forced extra time on Saturday against the host Victoria Royals with a third-period marker by Milos Roman but ended up losing 3-2 in OT.
Kaid Oliver bagged the winner for the Royals with 0:25 to go in the five-minute added stanza. It was his second of the game.
