Rock slide closes Trans-Canada between Revelstoke, Golden, until further notice

VANCOUVER — Geotechnical engineers have arrived at the site of a rock slide that has closed the Trans-Canada Highway in southeastern British Columbia.
The rocks came down Tuesday evening.
Highways officials have not said exactly where the slide occurred along a 147 kilometre stretch between Revelstoke and Golden.
They say no alternate route is available.
An anticipated opening time for the highway will be determined after engineers assess the extent of the slide and whether there is a poss
