Richmond woman, 54, dies after being struck by SUV

A 54-year-old Richmond woman has died from injuries suffered in a Nov. 12 pedestrian accident.
The woman was struck by an SUV as she attempted to cross Bridgeport Road.
Police say the driver, a 59-year-old Surrey man, stayed at the scene and “attempted to render assistance to the pedestrian.”
The RCMP say neither speed, nor alcohol were contributing factors in this fatal collision. The pedestrian did not appear to have been crossing in a designated area, police said.
