Repaving work on Highway 3 through Manning Park expected all summer

B.C. road trippers planning to drive Highway 3 through Manning Park this summer are being warned of repaving work that will begin next month.
About 25 kilometres of the highway between Sumallo Grove and Allison Pass will be resurfaced. The work is expected to continue through the end of the summer.
The stretch of roadway will be redone using an environmentally friendly technique that reuses asphalt right on the spot, without removing it and sending it away for processing first.
