RCMP’s emergency response team called to Port Moody residence

A residential neighbourhood in Port Moody has been blocked off as police negotiate with a “despondent male” inside a home.
Port Moody police and the members of the Lower Mainland emergency response team have surrounded a home on Aspenwood Drive.
Port Moody deputy police chief Ken MacDonald says there was an indication that there may be a weapon inside the residence but that has not yet been confirmed.
