Queensborough Bridge closed Wednesday due to fire, power outage

The Queensborough Bridge as well as nearby schools are closed Wednesday morning due to a power outage.
The bridge is expected to be closed for up to 10 hours, as crews remain on site working to fix the outage.
A high voltage cable failure sparked an electrical fire sometime early Wednesday morning, causing power to go out on the bridge connecting New Westminster and Queensborough and beyond.
