Powerful winds batter British Columbia's south coast

Batten down the hatches, Vancouver — we’re in for some stormy weather.
 Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for B.C.’s south coast. A strong low pressure system will bring powerful winds with gusts of 70 to 80 km/h to the coastal sections of Metro Vancouver by late Monday morning.
The winds are expected ease later in the afternoon.
