Police seeking Surrey suspect in Sunday groping incident

Police are investigating after a woman was grabbed and groped early Sunday morning while walking in Surrey’s east Newton neighbourhood.
Around 5:16 a.m. Sunday, a woman was walking near 144th Street and 76th Avenue when a man walking in the opposite direction grabbed her by the arm and allegedly groped her.
The woman fought back and the suspect ran off.
Surrey RCMP is now hoping anyone with information about the incident will come forward.
The suspect is described as a South Asian man abou
