Police investigating body found in Langley grass fire Saturday morning

Police are investigating after a body was found in a grass fire in Langley early Saturday morning.
Around 2 a.m., the Langley Fire Department was called to a fire in a field adjacent to the 6000-block Glover Road. After extinguishing the grass fire, firefighters found a body and called RCMP.
Langley RCMP’s serious crime unit is handling the investigation. The surrounding area will be cordoned for the remainder of he day.
